This Cancellation Policy outlines the procedures and conditions for cancelling participation in the AWSISA African Water & Sanitation Dialogue (“the Event”) hosted on www.awsisa-watersan-dialougue.org.

By registering for the Event, you agree to comply with this policy. Please read it carefully before proceeding with any cancellation.

1. Delegate Cancellations

• All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the AWSISA Secretariat at conference@afriwater-san.africa.

• Cancellations received more than 30 days before the event start date may be eligible for a 50% refund of the delegate registration fee (subject to the Refund Policy).

• Cancellations received within 30 days of the event will not be eligible for a refund.

• Delegates unable to attend may transfer their registration to another individual at no additional cost. Please provide the substitute’s full name and contact details via email.

2. Exhibitor & Sponsor Cancellations

• Exhibitor and sponsor registrations are non-refundable. Cancellations will not result in any reimbursement.

• If unable to attend, exhibitors or sponsors may request alternative promotional support, which will be considered at the discretion of AWSISA.

3. Event Cancellation or Postponement by AWSISA

• In the rare event that the AWSISA Dialogue is cancelled, all registered delegates, sponsors, and exhibitors will receive full refunds of their registration fees.

• If the Event is postponed, all registrations will be automatically transferred to the new event date. If you are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, please contact us to discuss possible alternatives.

4. Force Majeure

AWSISA shall not be liable for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, labour strikes, civil unrest, or changes in government regulations.
